Reasons why you decided to run for the board: To become more involved in the community aspect of pharmacy, as well as work with many distinguished pharmacists that currently practice in a variety of settings.

Reflections on board/association involvement:  I feel that this association has been a firm voice for legislation for pharmacists.  The association/board is actively involved in patient care and current issues.

Your goals for our profession: I plan to continue to be actively involved in my profession by belonging to my state board of pharmacy as well as many national organizations that are current in the practice of pharmacy.

Other professional organizational involvement:  ASP, ASHP, NCPA, NPA, MCCP, ACCP and Kappa Psi

Community service activities:  American Red Cross Volunteer, American Cancer Society volunteer, active donor to the Open Door Mission and St. Jude’s Hospital, Operation Immunization and volunteer at the Nebraska Humane Society.
