MELANIE RYAN

Board Member

Melanie grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and attended Kearney State College (Now University of Nebraska-Kearney) to complete her pre-pharmacy prerequisites.  She pledged and is a current member of Gamma Phi Beta-Gamma Kappa chapter.  She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in 1991.

Melanie worked as a clinical pharmacist at UNMC (Currently Nebraska Medicine) for the first nine years of her career.  In 2000, she took a position at Jennie Edmundson Hospital as the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator.  In 2014, she became the  Pharmacy Director at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

In 2016, Melanie was chosen to participate in the Leadership CB class and is currently a board member for Prevention Means Progress (PMP).  She became a member of the SIPA board in October of 2017.
